RJ (Jeremiah Lisbo) finds Max (Belle Mariano) distraught over what happened at home with her family. They catch up and ask about the events that happened in each other’s lives when they were away from each other.
RJ wonders if Max ever had a boyfriend while he was in the U.S. and she answers no, because she had always been “faithful” to him. He records this and posts it on his Instagram Story.
Kim (Dalia Verde) gets a hold of the video and passes it around, branding Max a traitor for mingling with the Southbay team captain.
Everyone, including Deib (Donny Pangilinan), sees this. His worries shift from Max feeling down to Max “playing with his feelings.”
Over dinner, Max tells RJ how much she missed him. She wishes he was there during the tough times she’s had, like when she was being bullied by Deib. This triggers RJ, but she assures him that all is well now and reveals to him that Deib, in fact, wants to court her.
RJ promises Max that he’s a friend and he’d never leave her side again. Touched by what he just said, Max leans over to hug him. Then Deib shows up and catches the two in an embrace.
Deib confronts them and Max explains there’s nothing romantic going on between her and RJ anymore. RJ calls Deib out for getting angry over Max for simply hanging out with a friend. In return, Deib calls RJ out for abandoning Max in the past.
When Deib gets time alone with Max, he confesses that he can’t imagine what his life would be like without her in it. Then Max thanks him for making her believe in miracles again.
Naih (Criza Taa) and Migz (Limer Veloso) stops Ysay (Vivoree) when she tries to come up to them, but Max gives her a chance to explain and then forgives her for not telling the truth about her brother sooner.
When Deib shares to Max what has been going on with him and his mom, Max guarantees him that she will be there to support and cheer for him when he needs it.
Then he looks her in the eye and says, “I love you, Max. You don’t have to say it. Not right now. I’m not rushing you. I’m willing to wait. I understand.”
And she replies, “Salamat, Deib. ‘Pag handa na ‘ko, kahit paulit-ulit ko pa ‘yang sabihin sa ‘yo.”
Everyone arrives at the big game, all but Max was there. Deib looks for her, but Kim’s spiteful words make him anxious that Max would turn up for the other team.
