TIMELINE: Sue Ramirez's movie and teleserye evolution

"The Broken Marriage Vow" might just be Sue Ramirez's biggest break yet in her career, that's why it's no surprise when she admittedly broke down upon finding out that she bagged the role of Lexy Lucero in the much-anticipated series.

And before we finally meet her seductively beautiful character on television, let's have a look back first at the actress' colorful journey on TV and on the big screen:


Sue started her career through the 2011 series "Mula Sa Puso" where she portrayed Nicole Mattias. It was then succeeded by another role in "Angelito: Batang Ama" where she played Rona Dimaano. In that same year, Sue also debuted on the big screen in the horror film "Aswang."


Come 2012, Sue landed her first lead role in "Oka Tokat" where she played Luna. She reprised her role as Rona in the second season of "Angelito" titled "Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto."

In 2013, she was casted in the recreation of the '80s drama "Annaliza" where she portrayed Luisa Celerez. She also had a special participation in the comedy drama "Dream Dad" in 2014.


2015 was one of Sue's busiest years when she portrayed the young Cecilia Macaraeg in "Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita," which was followed by a portrayal in "All Of Me" as Kristel Sebastian. She was also part of the "Pangako Sa'Yo" remake starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla where she figured in a love triangle with the two as Joy "Ligaya" Miranda.

In that same year, Sue also appeared in the Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil film "Just The Way You Are" as well as a special participation in the sequel of the iconic romance movie "One More Chance," "A Second Chance."

Sue joined the LizQuen series "Dolce Amore" in 2016 as Angela Urtola, the sister of Liza Soberano. In 2017, she was part of "My Dear Heart" where she portrayed the young Margaret Divinagracia (Coney Reyes) in the series, followed by her appearance in the KathNiel fantasy series "La Luna Sangre."

Her most notable character yet was in the afternoon series "Hanggang Saan" where she played Anna Lamoste.

In 2018, she became a guest in the long-time running primetime series "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."


2019 was quite a busy year for Sue big screen-wise, where she starred in four different films, three of which were lead roles. She topbilled "Sunshine Family," "Cuddle Weather," and "Dead Kids," and had a special participation in "I'm Ellenya L."

The year started out great for Sue, who was part of the Gerald Anderson-led series "A Soldier's Heart" as Lourd. In the midst of the lockdown, she also was casted in the iWant Original movie "Love Lockdown."

This year, she also starred in two movies, the Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber starrer "Princess DayaReese" where she had a special participation, and the family drama "Mommy Issues" where she starred alongside Pokwang.
