Being an actress might come off as a glitz and glamour type of job for some, but little do they know that they have their fair share of struggles too.

This is especially true for celebrities like Camille Prats, who started off at a very young age. During the pre-show of the digitally restored "Ang Pulubi at ang Prinsesa" where she starred alongside Angelica Panganiban, Camille recalled how she experienced the most challenging part as a child actress.

According to Camille, it was during the part where she had to cry and recite extremely long lines upon finding out that Angelica's character was comatose.

"I remember doon sa part na na-comatose si Angelica, I think that was one of the most challenging I had to do as a child. Kasi when we were doing that scene, ni-revise lahat ni Direk Jerry yung litanya. Hindi ko alam kung na-start ko na siya i-memorize or I was about to memorize, pero yellow pad back-to-back yung lines. Ganoon siya kahaba and I had to memorize it on the spot right before we shot the scene," she recalled.

Camille just had to rely on her emotions to make sure she will deliver the lines correctly.

"Sa pagkakaalala ko, the way it was written, it was very heartwarming tapos it's about a friend who really cares for a friend and that's it. So parang I was moved by the dialogue at that time, and at the same time kailangan umiiyak ako sa part na yun pero silent cry lang. That was challenging and at the same time I felt also the lines," she said.

Apart from the memorization of script, Camille also admittedly had a hard time portraying a "mataray" role which she was not used to.

"Nasanay ako na yung role given to me was always the naaapi. So I need to know the dynamics I have to do or give to be the maldita one so parang di ko alam kung kulang pala. Parang for me, sobrang maldita na nung ginagawa ko as it comes out, kulang pa," she said.

"But Direk Jerry [Lopez Sineneng] was the one guiding me doon sa panahon na kailangan ko mag-sungit," she added.
