Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico are one step closer to their forever home!
The celeb couple shared their journey to building their dream house on a video shared by their design and construction firm last May.
Solenn explained she and Nico have always wanted a bigger space, especially now that they’re raising their daughter Thylane.
“You know, when you settle down and when you start having a child, you start thinking about bigger area and an area where you won’t really need to go out often. So obviously, right now, we live in a house, but we don’t have a garden. So, we really wanted to have our own place,” the model/actress said.
Having a garden, which they don’t have in their current residence, is something that Solenn is making sure to have this time.
“Since I was a kid, I’ve had this dream house and how I wanted things to be done and so we decided to look for a lot and to make sure that have enough space for a garden,” she shared.
Nico revealed that they have been planning this for a while now, but they’ve only gotten the chance now.
“So, on my side, we always thought about, ‘Okay, at one point of our life, we will build our own house’ and I think the whole situation where we are today, plus, of course, having a baby… Plus, you know, the right opportunity, and it came out, we are very, very excited. This is the first time we’re going to build anything in our lives,” he said.
Solenn thinks it’s the very best example of the two of them “#adulting” and she still can’t believe they’re actually doing it. “It feels surreal, we’re still in kind of a cloud.”
As for Nico, he described this experience as, “The most important journey of our life.”
Solenn and Nico started dating in 2012. Two years later they got engaged, but didn’t get married until 2016. In January 1, 2020, they became parents to Thylane.
