It’s official: Jodi Sta. Maria is a super woman.
In between acting projects and being a mom, the Kapamilya star managed to finish a four-year college course. On Saturday, June 5, she happily announced that she is set to graduate soon.
In 2017, Jodi enrolled in Southville International School to study BS Psychology. Just like many of her achievements, she also had to work hard for this as well.
Her latest feat was passing her final defense after hours and hours of research and preparation. On Twitter, she wrote, “I wanted to share this with all of you! I passed my final defense this afternoon. Being grilled for more than three hours was no joke.”
Jodi added, “But I must say the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the hours spent in front of the computer to source out materials for my paper, were worth it. Marching soon!”
She also sent her thanks to those who supported her in this journey. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for me and those who sent messages of encouragement. Maraming salamat! Malapit na ang graduation!”
In an interview, Jodi has said that she plans to specialize in oncology or the study of cancer after earning a college degree.
She is returning to TV to star in “The Broken Marriage Vow”, the Filipino adaptation of the hit British series “Doctor Foster”.
