If you're not one to believe in serendipity, then Maxene Magalona's heartwarming story might just make you rethink your stance.

In an Instagram post to honor her late father Francis Magalona on Father's Day, Maxene recalled one of her fondest memories with her dad from an endorsement shoot years ago.

She recalled, "Years ago, our family did an endorsement for a cola brand which we shot in a beautiful house in Makati. I remember having so much fun with everyone at the shoot, working while spending quality time together. My Dad always loved cracking jokes and making us laugh which made work so much more enjoyable."

Maxene then remembered that one time a friend tagged her in a throwback photo from the endorsement shoot which she showed to her husband Rob Mananquil. It took place long before they met each other, but what Rob said next surprised Maxene.

"When he saw the photo, he turned to me and said, 'The painting behind Pop is one of my artworks'," Maxene said.

Shocked from what she discovered, it just affirmed Maxene's belief in fate even more. "I’ve always been the type who believes in serendipity and this just proved to me that God truly works in mysterious ways."

"Since then, we decided to hang the painting in our living room so that we can be reminded that God brought us all together for a purpose. 🙏🏼" she added.

Maxene then ended her post quoting one of her dad's songs, as she sent all her love to everyone who celebrated Father's Day.

“There won’t be peace on earth unless we live as one.” 🕊 she wrote.
