Pinky also said that her late brother had been going in and out of the hospital even before the pandemic happened.
"Bago pa mag-pandemic, labas pasok na po siya sa ospital. Nais naming magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga doktor at sa buong medical team na nag-alaga sa kapatid namin. Naramdaman namin ng mga kapatid niya na they did everything to make him comfortable. They became compassionate friends who gave him true respect for valuing and respecting his privacy," they said.
Their family also took the chance to express their gratitude to PNoy's friends who have been visiting him, as well as the nuns and priests who prayed for his betterment until the end.
“No words can express how broken our hearts are and how long it would take for us to accept the reality that he is gone," Pinky said.
"Mission accomplished ka, Noy. Be happy now with dad and mom. We love you and we are so blessed to have had the privilege to have had you as our brother. We will miss you forever, Noy," she added.
