We often associate rainy days to feeling down and overall sad, but this is not the same case for P-Pop boy group BGYO.
We asked the members of the group, Gelo Rivera, Nate Porcalla, JL Toreliza, Mikki Claver, and Akira Morishita, to suggest some songs they think would be perfect to play now that it's officially rainy season, and we're surprised to how diverse their song recommendations are.
For Mikki, he recommended "Binibini" by Zack Tabudlo, "Mundo" by IV of Spades, as well as Arthur Nery's songs. He said that the music video of "Binibini" reminds him of how Zack played and sang while being drenched in the rain, and JL agreed, saying that it's so relaxing to vibe to songs while it's raining.
Akira also recommended OPM songs too, such as Moira Dela Torre's tracks and Ben&Ben's "Leaves" and "War." Like Mikki, he also recommended Arthur Nery's songs and BTS' "Life Goes On."
If you're looking for the perfect music to play while sipping a cup of coffee while raining, Gelo suggested FKJ and Sabrina Claudio's songs, as well as Jereena Montemayor's "Rose."
Meanwhile, Nate suggested three songs that are perfect for three kinds of moods on a rainy day. If you're feeling blue, Dean's "Instagram" would be perfect, while Teriyaki Boyz' "Tokyo Drift" is the most fitting one if you're feeling hyped up while driving in the rain. But personally, he would play "Outro" by BTS as he imagined a rainy day concert with his members.
