Enchong Dee finally gave a glimpse of his farm in Palauig, Zambales, which he started venturing into in 2020.
On his vlog last June 11, the actor gave an update about his shrimp farm construction, where he also walked us through to some parts of his massive farm. So far, the place has seven villas where his workers currently stay, fields where he plans to plant some fruits, and some ponds and tanks for shrimps and fishes.
"Ang tagal ko ng pangarap na pasukin ang Food Production business and it all happened last year. It’s a huge investment but we are not here to just profit but to be part of the deficit in shrimp supply in the country," Enchong said in the caption of one of his Instagram posts.
The still-developing land according to Enchong will have sustainable and environment-friendly facilities to ensure that they will not harm the environment in the long run.
Enchong also tried to catch shrimps himself in the vlog, and helped the workers in the process of weighing the caught shrimps afterwards.
While the farm is still under construction, Enchong said that he and his business partner dream for their farm to be one of the biggest suppliers of shrimps in the Philippines.
