If given the chance to have her own biopic in the future, Catriona Gray said she wants Rise artist and singer Jayda to portray her.
In an interview with Metro.Style editor-in-chief Geolette Esguerra, the Miss Universe 2018 was asked who she would personally pick if she would have her own life story in a movie.
"She popped into my head because literally I had an interview with her kanina... Si Jayda," Catriona quickly answered.
"She just turned 18, she's your cover girl," referring to the singer's recent cover on Metro.Style.
The two, who had previously worked together for a musical variety show on TV5, already shared the stage in a few production numbers.
"She's so incredibly talented as a vocalist and she also is such an old soul like me. And she's also an only child, right? So we have that in common," she added. "Yeah, I'd pick Jayda."
Touched by the beauty queen's words, Jayda then shared the interview of Catriona on her Instagram Stories with the caption "🥺❤".
The two, who both share their passion for music, recently released their individual singles — "Raise Your Flag" for Catriona, and "M.U." for Jayda.
Jayda is also gearing up for her upcoming digital concert titled "Jayda in Concert" this June 26.
