We were treated to another weekly vlog of the Happy Islanders family, where we finally saw the whole story behind one of her recent Instagram posts where their car broke down in the middle of nowhere.
But apart from their spontaneous adventure, Andi also shared what she's been up to lately which includes selling off her pre-loved clothes in a "Community ukay-ukay" in Siargao.
According to Andi, the charity drive was a fundraiser by one of her friends for the benefit of the health and daycare center in the island.
"We have a setup here outside kasi para makita ng mga tao dito sa community ukay-ukay neighborhood namin na naglalabay-labay (dumadaan-daan),” she said.
“Matagal ko nang [gusto] magkaroon ng purpose ‘yung mga preloved clothes namin, alam ko maraming ibang makikinabang and of course it is better for the environment if I can see nga napa-pass-on ko siya.”
Andi also believes that the money that will be used by the locals to purchase her clothes will also somehow "return" to them since it will be donated to the health center facilities in the island.
“So naisip ko, para hindi naman sayang ang binayad ng mga locals, sa kanila ko na rin ibabalik ‘yung naibigay nila kaya ilalagay natin sa health center ‘yung earnings para makatulong naman, ‘di ba? And maka-help na ma-provide ‘yung mga kulang na materials ,‘di ba? Na mas pagandahin at ayusin pa ‘yung health center namin dito,” she said.
Andi also encouraged everyone to donate in the fundraiser to help fulfill the money needed to proceed with the center's renovation and improvement.
