The secret is out: Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo, and Sue Ramirez will star in the Philippine adaptation of the hit BBC Studios drama "Doctor Foster"!
Titled "The Broken Marriage Vow," Dreamscape Entertainment unveiled the powerhouse cast today, May 7, across its social media accounts.
The series revolves around the story of a married couple named Dr. Jill Ilustre (Jodi) and David Ilustre (Zanjoe), whose marriage will be tested because of the latter's affair with the young and beautiful Lexy Lucero (Sue).
Their son, Gio Illustre, will get caught in between the struggle of the couple, which will be portrayed by Zaijian Jaranilla.
The series will be helmed by Concepcion Macatuno, whose recent films include “Glorious” and “Malaya”.
“The Broken Marriage Vow” is the sixth international adaptation of “Doctor Foster,” following its versions of France, Russia, Turkey, India, and the latest, South Korea.
