The future that Alex Gonzaga and husband Mikee Morada see together sounds like the dream for the most of us. But with how they are handling their marriage, there’s no doubt they’d be getting just what they are setting their minds on.
On a recent vlog, the two played “The Newly-Wed Game” where they answered questions to test how well they know each other as husband and wife for five months now.
When asked where they see themselves five years from now, Alex shared, “In five years, we'll probably have two kids. Isang toddler tsaka isang baby.
Mikee agreed and added that he wishes they would still have the jobs they have now. “By God’s grace, tuluy-tuloy pa rin ‘yung aming mga ginagawa.”
Later, he revealed that in the time they’ve been married, he saw how understanding Alex really is.
“In five months, nakita ko ‘yung asawa ko very understanding kasi hindi kami laging magkasama, eh. Dapat magkasama kayo every day, pero nauunawaan namin ang isa’t isa,” he explained.
Kahit papitik-pitik, binibigay natin.”
As for Alex, she learned how to be more wise with her decisions when it comes to finances.
“Be really responsible and to really manage my finances. Wala siyang opinyon, wala siyang sinasabi. But now, binibigyan niya ko ng opinions and suggestions kung saan ko dadalhin ‘yung pera ko, and tinatanong ko siya kung okay ba ‘yung investment na ‘yun,” said Alex.
While their future home is in construction, Mikee now lives with Alex at her parents’ house in Taytay. In the vlog, he took the time to thank them for being so kind to him and making him feel so welcomed.
And she replied, “Ako ang aalis, ikaw maiwan ka rito.”
Mikee said that people would think it’s not easy to live with in-laws, but that has never been the case for him and he’s grateful for that.
Pero dito, masaya, kaya very thankful ako sa parents niya,” he said.
