Joshua Garcia excited to be working with Charlie Dizon for ‘Viral’

Joshua Garcia is the latest to join the stellar cast of ABS-CBN’s upcoming series “Viral”.

On TV Patrol last Thursday, May 27, the actor expressed how excited he is to be back on TV, doing what he loves best.

“I just love acting. I love my work and kahit anong ibato sa akin ng magandang kwento, gagawin ko ‘yun,” he shared.

He will be starring alongside 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress Charlie Dizon, who admitted that she’s both excited and nervous to be working with Joshua.

“Kinakabahan talaga ako,” said Charlie on the same interview.

Then Joshua interrupted, “Excited ‘yan.”

“Excited talaga ako, of course,” Charlie laughed. “Pero kinakabahan din po ako, dahil alam ko naman na magaling talaga na artista si Joshua.”

The “Love You To The Stars and Back” star later added that he is just as thrilled as Charlie to be playing next to her. “Excited lang talaga ako na makatrabaho ang lahat, especially Charlie. Isa lang kami ng iniisip lahat and that’s good.”

The two will be joined by Rommel Padilla, Ria Atayde, Maxene Magalona, Vance Larena, Kaila Estrada, Markus Paterson, Jameson Blake, Gian Magdangal, Louise Abuel, Karina Bautista, and Aljon Mendoza.

Primetime legends Jake Cuenca and Dimples Romana are part of the cast as well.

Jake commended “Viral” for its story that he thinks everyone would find relatable. “‘Yung material ng script, very timely, very relevant, very totoo. So makikita mo pati sa lives natin, very relatable.”

Charlie echoed the same thoughts and said this kind of story would hopefully serve as an eye-opener to many.

“Dun makikita ng tao na hindi lang ‘yung biktima ‘yung naapektuhan, pati ‘yung entire environment ng biktima. Sana ‘yun ‘yung ma-realize ng viewers, na ‘wag muna manghusga sa lahat ng nakikita nila sa social media. Kung baga, think before you think,” she said.

“Viral” centers on Charlie’s character who becomes a victim of a sex scandal. It's set to be released soon on the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and A2Z Channel 11.
