We loved her as one of the "Goin' Bulilit" graduates, which also introduced her name in the showbiz industry.
And now that she's ready to take on her first-ever lead role in a series, Belle believes that she's already had enough time to break away from her awkward stage of being a "Bulilit".
"Feeling ko nalampasan ko na 'yung awkward stage after I graduated from 'Goin' Bulilit' kasi there's a space po talaga na parang nagma-mature ka physically and emotionally," she said during a virtual press conference. "So feeling ko nalampasan ko na po 'yun."
Now, she's more focused on handling the pressure of taking this big leap in her career.
"Siyempre there's pressure. First of all this is my first lead. First time ko pong magkaroon ng ganito and first time ko rin po magkaroon ng ganitong character na china-challenge 'yung acting skills ko," she said.
"It's such a known book, it's such a known story. This is my first lead and macha-challenge po talaga ako because people know me as the sweet girl na girly girl. But then this one, I'm gonna take on such a different path naman na ilalabas sa'kin yung pagkaangas ko and pagka-boyish ko," she added.
Portraying Max in the series, Belle is also out to prove the people wrong about their assumptions about her.
"Very special po talaga [ang project na 'to]. But I'm really driven to prove anyone na kaya kong gawin ang role na 'to," she enthused.
Also starring Donny Pangilinan, "He's Into Her" is finally coming this May 28 on iWantTFC! It will also start airing on May 30 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z Channel 11, and TFC.
