The trailer for the upcoming animated series "Trese" is finally here!
Netflix released the trailer earlier today, May 21, and it's safe to say that we are excited to the thirteenth power! (See what we did there?)
Lead character Alexandra Trese is voiced by none other than our very own Liza Soberano, and she definitely did a great job bringing life to the role, and we can already say that after watching just two minutes of the trailer!
Joining Liza in the Filipino-language version of the series are Simon dela Cruz (Crispin and Basilio), Apollo Abraham (Captain Guerrero), Christopher Carlo Caling (Hank), Christian Velarde (Nuno), and Eugene Adalia (Anton Trese).
Meanwhile, "You" star Shay Mitchell will be voicing Alexandra for the English version. Other voice actors include Darren Criss, Jon Jon Briones, Nicole Scherzinger, Manny Jacinto, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Dante Basco.
"Trese" is adapted from the graphic novel of the same name by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo. It is directed by David Hartman, Mel Zwyer, and Tim Divar, with voice direction by Rudolf Baldonado and Wes Gleason. It will also feature the original song "Paagi" by UDD, with lyrics by Armi Millare and Paul Yap.
It will premiere on Netflix on June 11.
