COMPILED: Celebrities who have received the COVID-19 vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues in the country and a number of celebrities were among the first ones to receive their jabs of the vaccine.

Below are the stars who have gotten their protection from the coronavirus:

Sharon Cuneta

Sharon flew to the United States last May 12 all by herself saying she "needs to breathe, collect myself, [and] gain strength."

During her first week in the country, the Megastar got her first dose against the virus. In one of her posts after she got her shot, she wrote, "Vaccinated! Got my first dose of Moderna Vaccine! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊😊❤️ Thank you so much, Nurse Trixia!!! ❤️❤️❤️



Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid

Celebrity couple Regine and Ogie got their first shots together last April explaining that they both have comorbidities, the reason why they were qualified to be vaccinated early.

“Kaming mag-asawa ay may comorbidity kaya nakakuha po kami sa QC ng slot at kami ay napabakunahan na,” he wrote in the caption.

Karla Estrada

Karla got vaccinated last April since she is qualified based on the released priority list.

“Ninais ko ito para tuloy-tuloy ang pagpapasaya, pagtulong, at pagbibigay gabay sa nakararami at sa aking pamilya!” she said in an Instagram post.



Jolina Magdangal and Mark Escueta

Momshie Jolina also got vaccinated on the same day as Karla, together with her husband Mark. The "Momshie, Ang Soul Mo'y Akin" star said that she "prayed to be vaccinated for so long."



Ruffa Gutierrez

Ruffa shared in an Instagram post last May 16 some snaps from when she got vaccinated in Taguig. She then encouraged everyone to protect themselves and take part in the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.



Zsazsa Padilla

Zsazsa is one of those who luckily had their full two doses of the vaccine since she is currently residing in the United States.



Chynna Ortaleza

Chynna is qualified in the A3 category and got vaccinated last April. In an Instagram post, the actress detailed the process she went through which lasted for an hour.



Dani Barretto

Dani got vaccinated over the weekend since she falls under the A3 category due to her severe asthma. "One step closer to a better tomorrow," she wrote in the caption.



Ogie Diaz

Ogie received his first vaccine shot last April which went viral due to the "unusual reaction" he got from the dose. He said that he agreed to whatever is available and was not "choosy".

Tim Yap

Tim revealed he has hypertension, making him qualified to get the vaccine shot. In an Instagram post, Tim detailed the steps his fellow Taguig residents should follow for them to be scheduled for vaccination.

Rachel Alejandro

Rachel, who is currently residing in New York, got her dose of the vaccine back in April. She also shared how she is taking the protocols seriously since New York is the epicenter of the virus in the U.S.
