Rabiya Mateo really did a great job representing the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
While she may have not brought home the crown, she certainly won the hearts of Filipinos with her jaw-dropping looks for the pageant. Here's a rundown of everything she wore for the competition, from the National Costume up to the coronation night:
For the National Costume, Rabiya wore 21kg-heavy wings designed with the colors of the Philippine flag: blue representing royalty, red for courage and strength of an independent woman, and yellow for the three stars on the flag.
The 24-year-old Illonga then wowed everyone with her yellow long gown for the preliminary competition which represents the sun — symbolizing happiness, strength, and vitality.
And for the coronation night, Rabiya stunned in her blue Sheri Hill dress right before she made it to the Top 21 of the competition.
She also stole the show with her bright yellow Eva Sevahl swimsuit after securing the spot.
Despite not making it to the Top 10 for the evening gown competition, Rabiya was still able to showcase her Sarimanok-inspired orange gown during the introduction of the show.
According to Dubai-based designer Furne One, the orange close-necked halter gown celebrates the festivals of Rabiya's hometown, Iloilo City. Also known as the City of Love, orange symbolizes "joy, happiness, and creativity."
Isn't she gorgeous? You made us proud, Rabiya!
