Gold Squad members share their opinions on common relationship ‘rules’

There have always been these relationship standards that cause a debate whether or not they should still be followed in this day and age.

Some older folks think they're tradition, while some think they're unprogressive and outdated. But what do the younger ones say? On “I Feel U”, the members of the Gold Squad, Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin, shared their opinions on these unwritten love “rules”.

When asked if a partner should make “paalam” when going somewhere, Andrea said it depends where the partner is going.

Basta party or may kasamang babaeng, dapat alam ko or nandoon ako,” she answered.

They discussed if it’s an obligation to post about one’s partner on social media and Francine had only this to say, “Para sa akin po, hindi naman palagi i-post sa socmed, mahalaga po sa ‘kin is pinaparamdam sa ‘kin.”

As girls, Andrea and Francine share the same perspective on boyfriends having a say on the clothes that their girlfriends wear.

Later, they were also asked who should say “I love you” more often between guys and girls, and here’s what Kyle said: “Depende po sa tao. Throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Seth cause quite a stir within the group when they got to talking about who should say sorry first.

“Sa panahon po naming ngayon, kahit babae may kasalanan, kami pa rin unang magso-sorry,” he said and how the girls reacted to that is what you should watch out for on the “I Feel U” episode airing on Star Cinema’s YouTube channel and Facebook page this Sunday, May 16, at 9:30am and 5pm.
