Dennis Padilla couldn't be more grateful for his second life after recovering from COVID-19 back in March.
During an interview with DZRH last April, the 51-year-old comedian said it's all thanks to his children's prayers that he was able to survive his 12-day battle with the novel coronavirus.
He then shared in an Instagram post on Monday, May 10, how much he wanted to give a tight hug to his children — Diane, Luis, Dani, Julia, Claudia, Leon, Rizzi, Gavin, and Maddie — inspired by his good friend Ai-Ai Delas Alas' post on Mother's Day.
In Ai-Ai's post, the comedienne shared how blessed she is to have beautiful children, and how she'll always be grateful for being their mom.
Dennis then reposted Ai-Ai's picture with her son Sancho, where they both looked emotional while hugging each other.
"I want to do this to all my children... Dear Jesus, ty for giving me a 2nd life.." Dennis wrote in the caption.
Just recently, Dennis had a one-on-one virtual interview with his daughter Julia Barretto about their past misunderstandings.
From wanting to drop the Baldivia surname to not having communication with each other, the two cleared everything in the video and agreed that everything is in the past now.
Now, the father and daughter can say that they have a real connection between them than before.
“All is well and forgiven now. I’m so glad you have a good relationship with me, with Clau, with Leon, and with all your kids now. I am so proud of you, because I saw your change after your journey with COVID,” Julia said in her vlog.
