When Angeline Quinto vlogged about her COVID-19 journey, she talked about how glad she is that her symptoms are subsiding and that she didn’t infect anyone else. Now, because of Sarah Geronimo, she has another thing to be grateful for.
The Popstar Royalty, who grew close with Angeline while working on “ASAP” together, checked in on her friend via text message after seeing the vlog.
Angeline proudly shared their conversation on Twitter last Monday, April 5, to show how much she appreciates Sarah.
“Hindi mo nakakalimutan kamustahin ako. Lalo nung nawala ang Mama Bob. Salamat sa’yo, Sars. Ipinost ko ito dahil nagpapasalamat ako na naging kaibigan kita bukod sa katrabaho. Salamat, SG. Mahal kita,” Angeline tweeted with a screenshot of her exchange with Sarah.
“Angge, kamusta ikaw? Nakita ko ‘yung vlog mo. Mag-iingat ka lagi,” Sarah told Angeline.
So Angeline gave her an update on her health, saying that she will remain in isolation until April 8. Then she congratulated Sarah for the success of her recent digital concert, “Tala: The Film Concert”.
Sarah then replied, “Pagaling ka Angge at magpalakas. Yakap. Salamat para sa ‘Tala’ concert.”
In 2002, both women joined the TV singing contest “Star For A Night”, where Sarah emerged as the grand winner. Eight years later, Angeline tried her luck again, this time for “Star Power: Sharon's Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar”, and won.
