Angeline Quinto has chronicled her first week of battling COVID-19 in her new vlog.
Released last Thursday, April 1, the singer-actress shared that she tested positive for the virus last March 27 after being in close contact with an individual who also got the virus.
Prior to being tested, Angeline said that she's already been feeling weak and feverish, as well as had diarrhea. She also experienced loss of taste and smell.
"Awa ng Diyos, unti-unti namang nagiging maayos ['yung symptoms ko]," she said.
Angeline strictly followed her quarantine so as not to spread the virus to her companions at home.
She added, "Buti na lang wala si Mama Bob dito kasi kung nandito ang Mama, baka mas lalo akong mataranta at mas di ko alam kung anong gagawin," referring to her late adoptive mother.
Last March 29, her house companions received their test results, which all came back negative.
“Sobrang thankful, dahil wala akong nahawa sa kanila. Sana hanggang matapos ko itong quarantine ko ay maging maayos at wala ako mahawahan kahit isa dito sa amin,” she said.
Angeline managed her sickness by regularly checking her oxygen levels and temperature, and taking supplements and tea.
By the end of her first week in quarantine, Angeline cheerfully said that she's starting to regain her sense of taste and smell. She would also be sharing the remaining week of her quarantine in a separate vlog.
