Grateful Angeline Quinto 'graduates' from COVID-19

Grateful Angeline Quinto 'graduates' from COVID-19

After 14 challenging days, Angeline Quinto has finally completed her isolation and she has already tested negative for COVID-19.

In her vlog released on Friday, April 9, the singer-actress shared the last seven days of her home quarantine.

In contrast to the first few days of her illness when she experienced symptoms, her last seven days in isolation were a breeze.

By the eighth day, the symptoms were gone and she was already able to sing. Her sense of smell and taste were also coming back.

She was even able to video call her close celebrity friends, Kim Chiu and Erik Santos.

"Punta ako diyan?" she jokingly told Kim and Erik in separate video calls.

Angeline even played "jojowain o totropahin" with Erik, whom she was romantically linked to in the past.

The next few days, she was already able to hear an online Mass and do meetings for her "ASAP" comeback.

In her vlog, Angeline also showed the various medicine and vitamins she had to take during her isolation.

Some friends also continued to send "paayuda" food for her.

On Day 14, her "graduation day," Angeline was tested for COVID and the results came in negative.

After two weeks, Angeline was finally able to go downstairs and she was greeted by her happy house companions and a "buffet" from her friends and supporters.

Angeline shared in her previous vlog that she got the virus last March 27 after being in close contact with a COVID positive person.

Prior to being tested, the singer-actress said she was already feeling weak and she also lost her sense of taste and smell.

Other symptoms Angeline experienced were fever and diarrhea.

In the end of her latest vlog, Angeline shared tips for COVID positive patients using her nickname "Angge" as an acronym.

"A - Always check your oxygen, temperature, hygiene; N - No to stress and worrying; G - Get enough sleep and rest; G - Get in touch with a doctor; E Eat healthy fruits and vegetables," she said.
