Coco Martin shares his greatest sacrifice working as an OFW in Canada

Just like his character Leon in their upcoming film "Love or Money," Coco Martin has had his fair share of struggles as an Overseas Filipino Worker.

During the movie's global media conference on March 8, the "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" actor recalled his sacrifices just to make ends meet for his family in the Philippines.

Coco said that he had to juggle his work as a janitor and a housekeeper during the course of his nine-month stay in Canada.

Naranasan ko rin magpulot ng mga plastic bottles, coke in can, para mapadalhan 'yung pamilya ko sa Pilipinas," he shared.

"At the same time, nasakripisyo mo 'yung sarili mong buhay pati buhay pag-ibig mo," he said.

Meanwhile, his "Love or Money" leading lady Angelica Panganiban was asked whether she can go as far as leaving her career for love.

However, Angelica isn't shutting her doors on the thought of doing it for the sake of her family.

Kung talagang kailangan, I think kaya ko siyang gawin," she said. "Hindi ko lang alam kung mapapanindigan ko."

Because of the pandemic, the Hugot Queen also realized how much she actually loves her job as an actress.

Mahal ko 'tong trabahong 'to," she pressed.

Helmed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, "Love or Money" premieres this March 12 on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, TFC On Demand, Cignal PPV, and Sky PPV.
