18-year-old Shanaia Gomez is among the five new artists who recently became part of Star Magic and Rise Artists Studio.
And even at the onset of her career, Shanaia already knows what she wants when it comes to the genres she wants to try, as well as the celebrities she dreams of working with.
"Ang dream project ko is to be in a dramedy [where] I can show my funny side... and I can also show na kaya ko rin ng drama," she shared in an exclusive interview.
The "Idol Philippines" hopeful also confessed how big of a Kathryn Bernardo fan she is, and how she looks up to her when it comes to acting.
"Mga artist po na I will really be honored to work with like sila Kathryn, kasi isa po siya sa mga inspirasyon ko sa acting. Or maybe si Liza (Soberano)," she said.
Among all the projects of her idol, Shanaia said that the 2019 movie "Hello, Love, Goodbye" is her favorite.
"Recently lang po I watched it, and for me, it was very different from a traditional Filipino movie. Para sa'kin, it really hit a spot for me," she admitted.
"I just loved the way that they act, their facial expressions, everything. Kahit po yung directing, si Direk Cathy (Garcia-Molina) po sobrang galing po. I just really, really enjoyed that movie," she continued.
And for the leading man she wants to work with? Shanaia said that she dreams to have Ian Veneracion as her leading man someday.
We hope to see you working with these stars in the future, Shanaia!
