'Hello, Love, Goodbye,' 'Quezon's Game' + more Star Cinema films nominated at the 36th PMPC Star Awards For Movies

Kathryn Bernardo and Bea Alonzo are both nominated for Best Actress!

'Hello, Love, Goodbye,' 'Quezon's Game' + more Star Cinema films nominated at the 36th PMPC Star Awards For Movies

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) has officially released its nominees for its 36th Star Awards For Movies, and Star Cinema films were visibly part of the list.

Among the nominees is the 2019 romance movie "Hello, Love, Goodbye," which is nominated under the Movie of the Year and Movie Ensemble Acting of the Year categories.

The film's director Cathy Garcia-Molina is also nominated for Movie Director of the Year, and Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards are nominated for Movie Actress of the Year and Movie Actor of the Year awards, respectively.

Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan is also nominated for Movie Supporting Actress of the Year for her role in "Hello, Love, Goodbye."

The historical film "Quezon's Game," on the other hand, is nominated under the Movie of the Year and Movie Ensemble Acting of the Year categories. Raymond Bagatsing is also nominated for Best Movie Actor for his portrayal of Manuel L. Quezon.

Bea Alonzo is nominated for Movie Actress of the Year for her role in the 2019 drama "Unbreakable."

Meanwhile, movies under ABS-CBN Films, Black Sheep also raked in nominations, including "The Panti Sisters" which is nominated under Movie of the Year and Movie Ensemble Acting of the Year.

"The Panti Sisters" director Jun Robles Lana is also nominated for Movie Director of the Year.

Carlo Aquino is nominated for Movie Actor of the Year for "Isa Pa With Feelings," while Jodi Sta. Maria is nominated for Movie Actress of the Year for "Clarita."

Alyssa Muhlach and Gillian Vicencio are both nominated for New Movie Actress of the Year.

Congratulations to Team "Hello, Love, Goodbye," "Quezon's Game," and to all the nominees!
