Meet the five new rising stars of Rise Artists Studio!

Rise Artists Studio is growing!

Today, March 15, ABS-CBN Films' talent management arm Rise Artists Studio officially welcomed its five newest members on "We Rise Together." Joining DJ Jhai Ho and Charlie Dizon were Karina Bautista, Aljon Mendoza, Shanaia Gomez, Zach Castañeda, and Bianca De Vera, who happily opened up about their journey of joining the family.

Interested in getting to know them more? Here are some fun facts about the newest Rise artists:

Karina Bautista

"Pinoy Big Brother: Otso" alum Karina is officially part of the fam! Best known for her roles in "Sandugo" and the lovecast "The Four Bad Boys and Me," Karina believes that being part of Rise will help her hone her skills more as an actress.

"Personally po, nilu-look forward ko yung plans sa'kin ng Rise and Star Magic and hoping na magawa nang tama 'yung papunta sa career path na gusto nila for me. And hoping sa projects kasama ang Rise artists and Kapamilya stars na talaga namang hinahangaan ko. [Gusto ko rin] ma-improve acting ko and I think Rise will be a good key sa pangarap ko na 'yun," she said.

Aljon Mendoza

Also a "PBB Otso" alum and the other half of the KarJon love team, Aljon was part of "Sandugo" and "The Four Bad Boys and Me."

Now, the young artist is looking forward to his journey of growth as a Rise artist.

"Marami akong nilu-look forward personally at saka sa mga katrabaho ko, sa new environment, sa new experience and journey, sa magiging outcome ko sa process dito sa Rise," he said.

Shanaia Gomez

Her voice captivated us as an "Idol Philippines" hopeful, and now Shanaia is ready to conquer the showbiz industry. According to Shanaia, she was so close to giving up showbiz when Rise discovered her.

"I started with commercials, I did 'Idol Philippines,' then after that, umuwi ako sa Canada. Akala ko wala na, wala na akong pag-asa, tapos na 'ko sa industriya ganun. Tapos finally, I got a chance...I tried with Rise Artists Studio. I was so blessed that they gave me a second chance, ayun, I'm here!" she exclaimed.

Zach Castañeda

Zach has mostly done commercials in the past, that's why he's very ecstatic for what's in store for him now that he's officially part of the Rise family.

"I am super duper excited to experience this kind of experience kasi iba talaga kapag nasa shows if you compare it [to commercials], super duper different. Kaya ito na yung time, in God's perfect timing, na finally, sa future baka may big project ako, big break, who knows?" he said.

Bianca De Vera

Bianca might be a familiar face for some since she was part of the "Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition." She is also one of the most popular users on TikTok with over 250,000 followers.

In the show, the 18-year-old opened up about her childhood dream of being an actress.

"Pangarap ko na talaga siya simula bata pa lang ako and hindi ko lang siya na-pursue because of school ganun. For me kasi, it's not just because I want to see myself on TV but because I'm very, very passionate about it. I always say na it's a craft, it's like a form of art talaga na I really, really want to get better at," she shared.
