Almost a month since Andi Eigenmann gave birth to son Koa, the actress-vlogger opened up about dealing yet again with postpartum depression.
On her latest vlog uploaded last February 7, Andi recalled her struggle back when she gave birth to her second child Lilo, and how her partner Philmar Alipayo helped her get through it.
“In my Instagram, I mentioned that I had postpartum depression with Lilo and Papa would always tell me that ‘You know this stage, this phase will go by very quickly,'" she mentioned in the vlog.
“Now this time around, I just really want to enjoy my time with my kids because, you know, it’s true what he said; every day they are growing and we will never get this time back,” she said.
Now, Andi has learned to cope with postpartum depression by choosing to have a more positive outlook.
"I’m choosing to look on the positive side of all of this. And I’ve just really been enjoying the super sarap feeling of having a newborn,” she said.
The Instagram post Andi was referring to was the one she posted with Lilo taking a peek at her baby brother.
In the post, the vlogger shared how things have been different with her second and third pregnancies and births.
"This time around things have been different. I truly missed newborn days with Lilo, and it eventually sunk in to me, how quickly that phase does go by. So now, I am just enjoying and cherishing every bit of it with Papa and the girls! ♥️" she wrote.
Andi and Philmar welcomed their son Koa last month.
The couple also announced their engagement in December last year, which was followed by a breathtaking underwater engagement shoot held in Siargao.
