'Fan Girl' director Antoinette Jadaone, proud of Charlie Dizon's first TV lead role

Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 Best Actress and "Fan Girl" star Charlie Dizon has landed her first television lead role in "Viral," and director Antoinette Jadaone couldn't be prouder of her latest milestone.

“I’m very happy for her, kasi finally nakikita na ‘yung galing niya," the "Fan Girl" director said during an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Charlie will be starring alongside Jake Cuenca, Dimples Romana, and many other stars in the upcoming series by RCD Narratives.

"Sa ‘Fan Girl’ kasi, kahit relatively new siya, nakikita mo na ‘yung rawness niya, ‘yung sincerity niya as an actress.”

“It’s always nice to have more projects kasi ibig sabihin, mas maraming tao ang makakakita kung gaano siya as an actress. Hindi siya one-trick pony kumbaga," Direk Tonet added.

"Viral” will be directed by Dado Lumibao and Froy Allan Leonardo, who last collaborated on the primetime drama “The Killer Bride.”

It is expected to air soon on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant TFC, and A2Z Channel 11.
