After 18 years, Dionne Monsanto has bid the showbiz world farewell.
The “Tubig at Langis” actress announced her decision on the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay” last Thursday, February 25.
“I want to say thank you so much. This is my last guesting ‘cause I'm retiring. I am already retired,” said Dionne.
The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum shared that she is moving to Switzerland, where her fiancé Ryan Stalder is from.
On Instagram, Dionne dedicated a post to thank ABS-CBN for the opportunities she received. She wrote, “I started acting professionally in 2002 for ABS-CBN RNG (Regional Network Group). It has been an amazing 18 years. Thank you for helping this small-town girl achieve her dreams.”
“I am forever grateful,” she added, putting three heart emojis in the network’s signature colors.
Dionne appeared in several Star Cinema films including “When Love Begins”, “Sa ‘yo Lamang”, “The Healing”, “Suddenly It’s Magic”, and “Always Be My Maybe”.
Her final acting stint was for Black Sheep's “Hello Stranger: The Movie”, which just premiered last February 12.
