'Hello Stranger: The Movie' cast, may revelation tungkol sa isa't isa!

Film shoots done during the pandemic have let cast members grow closer than ever before because of the weeks-long lock-in shoots, and this is definitely true for the "Hello Stranger: The Movie" cast.

The close-knit cast met and bonded for the first time in person since the success of the Black Sheep digital series that concluded August last year.

"Sobrang nakaka-excite kasi dati virtual lang, sa Zoom lang talaga kami nagkikita," Vivoree said during an interview with Black Sheep.

One of the lead stars JC Alcantara also seconded the thought. He said, "Noong nag-movie, dito kami nagkakilala talaga sa isa't-isa. Dito kami naging close. Kaya nakakatuwa na ang gaan talaga nila katrabaho dito sa 'Hello Stranger'."

Their long lock-in shoots also gave them their fair share of memorable moments while filming.

The other half of XavMi, Tony Labrusca, recalled that he learned how to play mahjong on the set.

"Ang mga naaalala ko talaga, grabe sila 'pag day off. 'Pag day off, ramdam ko talaga 'yung bonding ng lahat. Hindi ko talaga makakalimutan 'yung mahjong kasi hanggang ngayon adik na adik pa rin ako dahil sa kanilang lahat," he shared.

Migs Almendras, the culprit behind teaching mahjong on-set, also made some revelations about his fellow cast members.

"Ang gagaling po pala sumayaw nina Tony at Gillian. Minsan po may libreng concert kami kasi si Jin (Macapagal) at si V (Vivoree) sasayaw 'yan. Minsan naman kung gusto namin ng libreng Spotify, si Patrick (Quiroz) kakanta 'yan," he revealed.

Meanwhile, the cast also welcomed new members to the "Hello Stranger" fam, including Markus Paterson and Jae Miranda.

"I was so nervous to come to the set because it's been a long time since my last taping. So parang kahit gaan ng role ko dito, sobrang kinabahan ako. As soon as I [settled in], sobrang welcoming ng lahat," Markus said.

Jae, on the other hand, shared one of his unforgettable experiences. He said, "Pinaka-memorable sa'kin either 'yung mornings or 'yung nights. 'Yung lahat kayo maggu-good morning lang, nag-aayos. Sa gabi ang daming nangyayari, may nagda-darts, may nagma-mahjong."

Brought to us by CineXpress, “Hello Stranger: The Movie” is premiering this February 12 on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, TFC On Demand, Cignal PPV, and Sky PPV.
