Valentine’s Day just passed and it was a sweet day for many, but a cold one for some. And as for JC Alcantara, it was a mix of both.
In his “I Feel U” interview last Sunday, February 14, the “Hello Stranger: The Movie” star admitted that he wasn’t having the best day.
He then revealed that he had been dealing with a breakup before going into filming of the said project.
He didn’t go into details on why his relationship ended, but said that he is now in the process of mending his broken heart, which he intends to use to give back the love fans have been giving him.
“Hello Stranger: The Movie”, a product of the wildly successful boys’ love series “Hello Stranger”, catapulted JC into stardom with his leading man Tony Labrusca.
He shared that because he waited long for this kind of opportunity to come along, he will do whatever it takes to show that he deserves all of it.
Young actors usually come in tried and tested molds created by the industry and JC broke all of that by taking on a project many would have said no to.
Taking the risk surely paid off, as it was received with praises not just in the Philippines, but all over the globe.
“Hello Stranger: The Movie” also stars Vivoree, Patrick Quiroz, Gillian Vicencio, Migs Almendras, Markus Paterson, Jin Macapagal, and Jae Miranda, and directed by Dwein Baltazar.
It is now streaming on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, TFC On Demand, Cignal PPV, and Sky PPV. It is distributed by CineXpress. Bagong sine, now na!
