Bea Alonzo had a good laugh addressing this rumor on her latest vlog and cleared it up once in for all.
While answering the web’s most search questions about her, Derek Ramsay’s name came up and she said she first heard about their supposed “romance” from a family member.
To put all speculations down, she added: “Magkaibigan kami ni Derek, matagal na kaming magkaibigan because he was my leading man in three of my films. I also worked with him in ‘Magkaribal’ and no, we are not dating and we are not getting married.”
Another name that popped up was Jericho Rosales’, whom Bea received an unexpected DM from!
Talking about the “Halik” star, Bea said, “Crush ko siya. Sobrang crush ko siya. Ito pa, nag-DM siya sa’kin kasi he wanted to pitch a new project to me. Fangirling!”
And of course, one does not simply go on a Google rabbit hole about Bea Alonzo without coming across her iconic tandem with John Lloyd Cruz.
When he was mentioned, the actress talked about their upcoming film “No Goodbyes” with their “One More Chance” director Cathy Garcia-Molina and writer Carmi Raymundo, slated for a 2021 release. “I can’t wait to share it with you guys what it is about.”
This will mark Bea and John Lloyd’s first film together in six years since starring in “A Second Chance” in 2015.
Later in the video, the “A Love to Last” star brought up the fact that her love team with John Lloyd came way before ship names were invented so they never had any, but here’s what she said: “‘Di na namin naabutan ‘yung magkasamang names eh! Like KathNiel, LizQuen, JaDine, AlDub! Kung pagsasamahin mo ‘yung Bea-John Lloyd… BeiLloyd? BeLloyd!
Well, with or without ship name, Bea and John Lloyd will always be one of the most iconic team-ups in Philippine history and we’re sure “No Goodbyes” is going to be one great reminder of that!
