Andi Eigenmann asked for prayers and help after their hometown Siargao got severely hit by supertyphoon Odette.
In a series of Instagram Stories on Friday, December 17, the actress-vlogger shared some updates about the island where they left some of their loved ones, including the parents of her fiance Philmar Alipayo.
Andi, Philmar, and their three kids are currently staying in Makati, as their flight got canceled due to the typhoon.
In one of the posts, she wrote, "24 hours and still sitting at the edge of our seats. We left our home, our loved ones - @chepoxz parents, relatives. Our family and our friends. Please Lord let them be safe. Please pray for Siargao."
As of December 17, all communications are still down in Siargao, and the residents of Siargao who aren't on the island are already arranging for planes to land doctors and to provide relief goods.
Andi also reposted relief and fundraising drives where people can send donations in cash or in kind.
Prior to her posts, Andi also expressed her concern for her hometown where she hopes to come home to as soon as they can.
Part of her Instagram Story reads, “ "We may not be there but our hearts are, and all we want is to be able to get home as soonest we can and HELP."
Philmar, for his part, also shared some updates as sent by his family in Siargao prior to when communication with them was lost.
Andi’s family, also called the Happy Islanders, have been staying in Siargao since the actress left the limelight in 2018.
