If you're one of those who were charmed by Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez's chemistry in "Marry Me, Marry You," then you're not alone.
The two, who are currently gearing up for the second season of the primetime teleserye, are very delighted to see the positive feedback from the viewers.
In a report by PUSH, Paulo expressed how grateful they are for the success of their first season during a recently held media conference.
"I didn't expect it to be like Kathniel's (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) or Lizquen's (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil). Pero parang I was expecting something for the show or because of the show or what they watched," said Paulo. "I didn't expect na ganito ka-grabe 'yung sumusuporta sa love team ika nga. I'm thankful because it goes to show that the chemistry worked and the show is working."
Given the reception of the viewers for their team-up, it was inevitable for the press to ask whether there would have been a chance for them to become "real" if they were both single.
Currently, Janine is in a relationship with Rayver Cruz while Paulo is dating model Jodie Tarasek.
“Ako no questions asked. Alam ko itatanggi na naman ako ni Janine, lumabas kami dati hindi lang natuloy," he revealed.
"Kung mangyayari itong pagkakataon na ito na single siya at single ako then okay. Kasi sinabi ko nag-date kami ni Janine dati tapos sabi niya, ‘Hindi ah, nag-hang out lang tayo’ so parang nasaktan ako kasi hang out lang pala yung dalawang beses tayo lumabas,” he quipped.
The second season of "Marry Me, Marry You" will premiere starting November 15 at an earlier time slot of 8:40 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and Kapamilya Online Live.
