JC Santos might just say goodbye to the limelight soon.
In an article by PUSH, the actor opened up about his plans to migrate to Australia with his wife Shyleena Herrera and daughter River Aletheia hopefully this year or sometime in 2022.
Citing the unstable work in showbiz as his reason, JC shared, "Matumal ngayon [ang trabaho sa industriya]. Parang mahirap talaga ngayon. Kumbaga, maraming plans of shooting pero wala actually nangyayari minsan. Tapos minsan, nauusog dahil sa mga protocol."
Living overseas actually isn't new to JC. In a media conference back in May, the "Motel Acacia" actor shared his experience as an OFW in Singapore and Hong Kong prior to joining showbiz.
"Ako nagplano na akong tumira sa ibang bansa, as in nag-decide na akong mag-stay sa Hong Kong kasi akala ko mag-aasawa na ako noon," he recalled. "I was 25 then and eventually may nangyari. Tapos nanaig 'yung pangarap. Plano ko nang mag-stay doon na parang hindi na ako babalik ng Pilipinas kahit kailan…Mabuti na rin lang hindi natuloy. Buti na lang din hindi natuloy."
JC last appeared in the primetime series "Walang Hanggang Paalam" with Angelica Panganiban, Paulo Avelino, Arci Munoz, and Zanjoe Marudo.
