KZ Tandingan’s newest single is finally here!

Asia’s Soul Supreme released her first international single “11:59” at 11:59 PM yesterday, October 21.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, KZ described “11:59” as “the culmination of everything she and her team have worked on in the past two years.”

The soulful track, produced by Grammy-nominated Lugo Gonzales, is KZ’s first-ever single to be released globally since she won “The X Factor Philippines” in 2012.

She shared her excitement in a virtual mediacon on Thursday, saying, “After my ’X Factor’ stint in 2012, the dream was always to go international. The dream was always to represent the country in the world stage of music."

"Now, after nine years, I get to release ‘11:59’ which is my first international single. It’s something that I will remember for the rest of my life," KZ enthused.

According to KZ, the song tells the story of a couple who find themselves at a crossroads in their relationship.

“But the problem is parang isa lang yata ang sigurado kung gusto ba nilang mag-move forward together. 'Yung isa is asking questions kung ano ba ang mangyayari. 'Yung isa medyo hindi niya sinasabi 'yung mga sagot na hinihingi sa kanya,” she detailed.

Twelve hours after the release of “11:59” on all major streaming platforms, its stunning music video that embodies the story that inspired the track premiered on Tarsier Records’ Youtube channel.
