Kylie Padilla assures she is okay amid all the controversy surrounding her after the statement made by her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica.
Sharing a photo of her with sons Alas and Axl, the actress said in an Instagram post on Friday, October 22, that she is happy and that she will protect her happiness in every way.
"I have all I could ever want already. Para sa lahat ng nag aalala sakin. I’m really ok 🙏🏻 Masaya ako and I will protect my happiness. No matter what," she wrote in the caption.
This is the first time Kylie has spoken after Aljur's controversial statement in a now-deleted Facebook post, urging her to tell the "truth" about who cheated first and who actually "wrecked" their family.
She neither addressed nor responded to the allegations by the actor.
Prior to the Instagram post, the actress shared a series of songs on Instagram Stories, which seemed to be related to the post made by Aljur. She also shared a quote about "a man’s ability to make you feel guilty for his mistakes," and tweeted "Pass divorce bill" hours after the actor's post.
Kylie and Aljur have been separated since April. The two have been in a co-parenting setup to their two sons since, with both kids staying under the care of the actress.
