A couple that cares together acts together! Jericho Rosales and his wife model Kim Jones have helped build 20 homes for families victimized by Typhoon Ulysses.
On Sunday, October 17, Jericho took to Instagram to happily share a housing project he spearheaded with Kim to help typhoon victims rebuild their lives.
“It’s been almost a year since typhoon Ulysses devastated many parts of our country, including Marikina and Cagayan,” he began the caption.
“We’re happy to share that with the help of one of the best titas of Manila Marinez Elizalde, our friends too many to mention, and you who donated to the cause, Ulysses Relief Fund was also able to help build 20 houses for 20 families to Project Salinong in Baggao, Cagayan," he proudly announced.
The “Bridges of Love” actor went on to speak on behalf of the families: “The recipients are very grateful!”
He then encouraged his followers to swipe right through the pictures showing the project coming to fruition as “it will make you smile.”
It was in November 2020 when Typhoon Ulysses wreaked havoc in Luzon, especially in the Cagayan Valley where dozens of municipalities got submerged in water, leaving hundreds of families homeless.
Among the celebrities who extended help to affected families were Jericho and Kim. They were lauded for their ‘act of heroism’ in using their surfboards to rescue trapped residents in Marikina City.
