Masbate bet Kisses Delavin may not have won the Miss Universe Philippines crown, but she won the hearts of people all over the country with her showmanship and grace under pressure.
Kisses came out on top during the first round of interviews and was chosen as one of the Top 10 candidates. Unfortunately, that’s where her Miss Universe journey ended as she didn’t make it to the Top 5.
A number of celebrities lauded the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum, including Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
Pia tweeted: "Kisses blossomed into a woman right before our eyes. She nailed that styling! #MUPH2021Coronation"
Meanwhile, Rabiya took to her Instagram story to tell Kisses “Ate Rab loves you!”
“Remember that you did well tonight. Continue to be kind and I’m looking forward to see you join again,” Rabiya added.
"Pinoy Big Brother" also gave a shout-out to Kisses on Twitter: “To this amazing and brave woman, you have fought a good fight. Congratulations and we are proud of you, our Miracle Daughter of Masbate, Kirsten Danielle “Kisses” Delavin! 👑❤️”
Kisses was part of "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7."
In a video uploaded on Instagram fan account @kissesdforever, it’s evident that a rush of happy emotions flooded Kisses when she got into the Top 10. Rabiya captured the happy moment on her Instagram story.
"I'm so happy!" Kisses exclaimed after making it to the Top 10.
In another video, Kisses can be seen saying thank you to the pageant staff even as she was getting ready to leave the competition crown-less. Now that's a true queen!
