Mikee Morada immediately came to the defense of his wife Alex Gonzaga following showbiz columnist Lolit Solis' controversial post allegedly claiming that the vlogger-host had a miscarriage.
The politician made the statement in the comment section of Lolit's post last October 9 where the columnist said she felt sad over the news she heard.
However, as much as the news was heartbreaking, Lolit said found it a "very petty" move for them on their plan to make money out of the sad news.
Very petty ‘di ba?
Mikee then called out Lolit in the comments expressing how dismayed he is for making such post, especially it's not just about Alex, but them as a married couple.
Salamat."
Earlier today, October 12, Lolit then issued an apology in a two-part Instagram post clearing that it was never her intention to hurt or cause pain.
Attaching a photo of the couple in the post, Lolit explained her side saying that she just used Instagram as a platform to air out her thoughts.
If I have offended, o may nasaktan dahil dito, I Am Very SORRY.
In the second part of her post, Lolit said she appreciated the way Mikee called her out for her post, and reiterated that it was never her motive to intentionally hurt them.
"Wala akong intention to hurt or cause pain. So SORRY if ito ang naging dating kay Alex Gonzaga at sa kanyang asawa. I will honestly say na I appreciate the very respectful comment of Alex Gonzaga husband. If I have offended and hurt you, I deeply apologize. I understand what you mean na very trying ang experience na ito para sa inyong mag asawa," she stressed.
