“Hello Stranger” star JC Alcantara’s life story will be featured in an upcoming “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode!
JC, who will play as himself, will take us to the time when he was only dreaming of being an actor. In the trailer uploaded on Tuesday, January 5, we saw glimpses of his failures and rejections, before finally landing his big break.
Playing as JC’s parents are Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz.
In 2020, JC starred alongside Tony Labrusca in the boys love (BL) series “Hello Stranger”, which became a hit online. The series is confirmed to have a movie sequel, and is currently in the works.
He also became part of ABS-CBN Films' very own talent management arm, Rise Artists Studio.
