Maris Racal and Sue Ramirez broke their silence to defend themselves against false claims being spread about both of them.
The two young actresses are the latest female celebs victimized by maliciously edited photos and through their social media accounts, they aired their response.
Maris did not hold back shaming whoever started the fake news. “There’s an edited photo of Sue and I spreading online. Magbago na,” she tweeted last Tuesday, January 26.
Sue took to Instagram her response and shared the photos from which the edits originated from.
Umayos kayo. AT ‘WAG TANGA PLS.
In another post, Sue called out everyone who shared the fake photos and pleaded to her Instagram followers to help put an end to this scandal and stop it from ever happening to any woman again.
“NAKAKADIRI KA. SA LAHAT NG NAG-SHARE NETO AT SA DEMONYO SA LUPA NA GUMAWA AT NAG-EDIT NG KABABUYAN NA ‘TO, NAKAKATAWA BA TO PARA SAINYO?!!!!” she wrote.
Kulturang MAPANIRA. Kulturang KASUKLAM-SUKLAM,” she continued. “THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE. Sa nakakaalam kung san nagsimula ito, pls contact me through DM. Help me get to the bottom of this.”
ABUSADO KAYO,” said the “A Soldier’s Heart” actress.
Maris and Sue’s talent agency, Star Magic, has also released a statement denouncing these harmful reports and said they are taking legal action against perpetrators and anyone who posts, distributes, or duplicates the images.
