Diego Loyzaga surprised his followers on New Year's Day after confirming that he is dating "Bagong Umaga" actress Barbie Imperial.
On Instagram yesterday, January 1, the actor shared a photo of him hugging Barbie by the beach.
"Happy new year to us 🖤 Thanks for making the end of my 2020 memorable. Lets gooo 2021!! 🙂" he wrote in the caption.
Diego's stepmom and Barbie's "Bagong Umaga" co-star Sunshine Cruz was among the ones who expressed her happiness for the new couple.
"You both deserve to be happy! ❤️😍💋 Happy New Year Diegs and my beautiful Cai 💋" she wrote in the comments.

Rumors about Diego and Barbie's romance first circulated in November after the actress revealed on "Magandang Buhay" that Diego is making his "moves" on her.
