Janine Gutierrez is the newest Kapamilya artist according to Paulo Avelino.
During the global media conference of "Fan Girl" yesterday, January 11, the actor talked about his current and upcoming projects, including the romance film "Ngayon Kaya" with the actress.
The film, which is helmed by "Isa Pa With Feelings" director Prime Cruz, was supposed to be released in 2020 but had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
“That’s coming out hopefully March or May,” said Paulo, who also revealed that their movie is targeting a 2021 Summer MMFF release.
Paulo then added, “It’s with our newest Kapamilya, Janine Gutierrez."
The actor's statement seemingly confirmed the rumors that Janine is switching networks after she was spotted having dinner with the ABS-CBN executives, including Dreamscape Entertainment Head Deo Endrinal.
"Thank you @montie08 for the Congratulatory dinner for @pauavelino and @janinegutierrez ❤️" the two stars' manager Leo Dominguez wrote in the caption.
Janine has yet to release an official statement about the news.
Janine was among the celebrities from other television networks that has shown her support to ABS-CBN after it shut down broadcast operations last May.
