Karina reveals what changed in Aljon after 2 years

It has been two years since Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza stepped out of “Pinoy Big Brother” and they have been grinding since!

From back-to-back TV stints to magazine spreads, these young celebs are surely giving showbiz their all.

On last Sunday’s (January 10) episode of Toni Gonzaga’s online talk show, “I Feel U”, KarJon opened up about how it's not all glitz and glamour as they imagined it when they were kids. But good thing they’re armed with the lessons being on “PBB” has taught them.

For Karina, it’s to just face anything that’s in front of you with a ready mind.

Aljon echoed the same thoughts. “Accept challenges sa buhay,” he said.

One of the first challenges Karina and Aljon had to go through is the pressure of making their love team click. They were told by people to act sweet on cam and do what others are doing, but luckily, they’ve found out that all they need to do is be themselves.

Karina, on the other hand, explained that Aljon doesn’t really have to fake it anymore anyway, because after two years of being a tandem, he has learned to do things his way.

Will we see glimpses of that on screen? We’ll have to wait and see as their new kilig sitcom “Hoy, Love You” drops on the iWant TFC app this January 18.

Directed by Theodore “Ted” Boborol, the series also stars Roxanne Guinoo and Joross Gamboa, with Carmi Martin, Dominic Ochoa, Pepe Herrera, Keanna Reeves, and Brenda Garcia.
