This Week on 'We Rise Together': LouDre on their long-distance relationship, Frankiana on being a love team + more!

From popular love teams to a viral influencer, it's a trending week on "We Rise Together"!

“Pinoy Big Brother Otso” reel-and-real life couple Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette were the guests in the August 31 episode. They happily talked about their long-distance relationship — Lou is staying here in the Philippines and Andre is in Hawaii.

The couple also got real about how much they've matured from when they were inside Kuya’s house to now that they’re more than one year into a relationship. They even gave some tips for young couples who want to keep their relationships strong in spite of countless struggles.

Also from “PBB Otso,” the beautiful Franki Russell and Diana Mackey graced the September 2 episode of the show and opened up about their lives after being part of the famous reality show.

Now tagged as the Frankiana love team, Diana admitted that their fans played a huge role in the careers they have now.

“Sobrang daming nabago,” Diana said. “Sobrang life-changing noong nangyari. As in never kong in-expect na magkakaroon kami ng ganoong klaseng supporters, 'yung mga projects na nakuha namin because of our supporters. Sobrang grateful."

Franki expressed their unending gratitude for their loyal fans. She said, “It's so crazy [it feels like] there's a big family that supports us that know us from 'PBB’. We feel very lucky and grateful for the support. Everything that happened to us [is because of our supporters]."

Trending influencer Mark Averilla aka Macoy Dubs joined the September 4 episode of the show and he served some piping hot tea as he talked about using his influence for good through his TikTok videos.

Macoy said that it was friends of his who didn’t have the courage to speak up that served as his inspiration to use his voice on social media platforms. “I have friends na nakaka-experience na noong mga effects ng mga nangyayari right now so bilang friend din nila, I want to stand up for them and maging voice nila to speak up about a certain issue,” he said.

“Halimbawa ‘yung mga nangyayari right now, medyo frustrating lang na hindi naha-handle nang maayos, so parang ikaw, as a person who has a following, and at the same time meron ka namang audience, parang it's okay somehow na mag-speak up ka na rin. Gamitin na lang natin for good,” he added.
