Even amid the pandemic, actress-comedian Kakai Bautista has found a lot of things to be grateful for.
One of these is having met Thai actor Mario Maurer, whom she had worked with on the 2012 romance "Suddenly It's Magic." Kakai reminisced about her good times with the actor and shared a throwback clip on Instagram last September 21.
The video, which was taken from their "Gandang Gabi Vice" appearance in 2012, featured Mario seemingly falling for Kakai's beautiful voice.
"Gusto ko sanang kiligin, pero mas gusto ko ng trabaho. Such a beautiful memory," Kakai wrote in the caption.
"The past week wasn't really that good. [I] lost too many bookings because of certain unavoidable reasons, but here I am, starting another week with a hopeful mindset. Tapos na akong umiyak sa kakaisip sa bayarin," she continued.
Kakai said she is grateful to know a "kind and authentic" person like Mario.
"Lord thank you, this made me smile today. You know how to ease my pain by simply reminding me that there is still so much good in this world. Mario was really kind and authentic. He was good to me until the end. I've seen so much of him that other people have never seen. I am forever grateful," she said.
"Ang sarap ng feeling kapag naaalala kita, puro masaya lang nagfa-flash sa utak ko. Salamat sa pagdaan sa buhay ko," she added.
