The Philippines' 40 million strong youth is rising up as the country gears up for the 2022 election.
"The Four Bad Boys and Me" star Maymay Entrata and her on-screen partner Edward Barber are taking part in the movement. We saw that through a tweet from ABS-CBN host, Robi Domingo last September 11.
He had used the hashtags #40MStrong and #MasMaramiTayo which are associated with We The Youth Vote, a non-partisan community whose vision is to empower young Filipinos to "take action in shaping the country's future by exercising their right to vote."
Just today, Vivoree also registered as a voter for the 2022 elections. She shared a photo on her Instagram Stories.
"Finally registered. What about you?" she wrote as a caption.
Here's another photo of her during her registration:
Voting is a right and a duty. It matters. Your vote can change the country, can change the world.
Voter registration runs until September 30. For some guidelines, we can refer to We The Youth Vote's tweet last September 7:
You can also consult the registration schedule released by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) here.
