Julia Barretto is among the many celebrities who found joy in cooking and baking while staying at home during the quarantine.
In an exclusive interview with Star Cinema, Julia said that having fun in the kitchen became a way for her to show her love for her family.
"I think those two (cooking and baking) are the ones na pinaka nagkaroon ako ng time para matuto. It's been really fun because it's something that I get to do not just for myself but also for my family," she shared.
"My family is so close to me kaya napapadalhan ko sila ng food. Sometimes they come over here sa house para mag-dinner kami lahat or have my siblings over then nakakapagbake kami together," she added. "I think 'yun 'yung talagang idadala ko after mag-quarantine kasi important life skill siya."
Julia also can't wait to get the chance to travel as soon as it becomes safe to do so again. Traveling, like cooking, is something she is deeply passionate about.
"To travel, that's what I'm looking forward to doing the most [once all of this is over]. Baka LA (Los Angeles). LA is like home to me, baka 'yun 'yung gusto kong puntahan, sana kapag okay na rin sila," she said.
Julia will be part of the upcoming television series "Cara Y Cruz" alongside Tony Labrusca, Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte. It will air on the Kapamilya Channel soon. She will also be reuniting with her former on-screen partner Joshua Garcia in the "LoveUNlock" mini-movie, "E-numan."
